On the eve of the inauguration, Kent Davidson and the members of his Sunday school class realize their concerns about the future of America are very real possibilities. They expect the reckless actions of the federal government to bring about a collapse of the country’s economic and social structure. Likewise, they believe the direction the country is going will embolden the terrorists to resume attacks on U.S. soil.

When Kent takes action to protect his family from the impending chaos, his friends are intrigued. Many view him as a right wing enthusiast, especially former classmate Senator Bailey Beauregard Bates, but a few join in with Kent’s plan to Escape to Haven. After the federal government approves a one-time tax on all assets, a run on the banks enhances the need for the self-sustaining community of Haven. Friends and former skeptics flock to Kent’s door.

Unfortunately, Kent and the residents of Haven soon find that being a self-sustaining community doesn’t mean being commended, especially when you’ve defied the odds and beat the system. Will Kent be able to ward off the attacks of local thugs, the IRS, terrorists, and the ultimate culprit—B. B. Bates?

Join new author Robert Gable in his first novel, Escape to Haven, a Christian suspense about the importance of relying on our faith in times of political and economic turmoil.

Endorsement of Escape to Haven

"Escape to Haven presents a provocative story of a man with a Christian worldview responding to a country moving toward socialism and a country that's the target of terrorism. Rob presents a compelling story of how a retired soldier applies his values and principles to the threats he perceives as being brought about by their elected representatives and terrorists"
by Carl Crackel, International Director of the Road Rider's for Jesus

Nine-year-old Jake Jacobs had walked over to the window and was looking across the valley and

up to the ridgeline. Jake slowly lifted his arm, pointed to the top, and said in a quiet voice, “They’re coming.”

It began in Escape to Haven when Kent Davidson and members of his Sunday school class established a self-sustaining community to protect themselves from a corrupt federal government, a new administration, and attacks by terrorists. In Haven and the Circle of Darkness, the residents of Haven learn that there are more serious foes than mankind to confront.

When one of the residents receives a directive for the community in a vision, the community, with the help of local pastors, set into motion a plan to disciple twelve new believers each week. But as their self-sustaining community attempts to become a nonprofit organization, the residents of Haven soon find themselves under attack from unseen forces that will stop at nothing to shut their efforts of discipleship down.

Join author Robert N. Gable in his second novel, Haven and the Circle of Darkness, a Christian thriller about the importance of relying on faith when battling demonic forces.
